Show organizers, Jan Haughey and David Scher, were very pleased with the synergy the event generated last year when vendors, professional organizations, academia and professionals involved in the broadcast and cable professions assembled under one roof. Video Educators of New England members, now in its 13th year, enjoyed their traditional day of topical sessions and taking breaks to walk the expo floor. Broadcast and cable professionals were pleased to have an NAB style expo in their backyard and used the opportunity to spend time with manufacturers and local resellers. Many professional organizations manned booths sharing information about their groups’ activities and services. They are excited about adding another element to the mix this year, the Ennes Workshop offered by Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE). The day doesn't end at 7:00 p.m., plan to stay for the Special Joint Meeting of SMPTE and BOSFCPUG, Finishing for Broadcast: Making It Street Legal, visit their websites for details.
