Weight loss and good physical health should be a lifestyle change, not just a short program. Nothing is more important than your health. Whether you want to lose weight, tone, or build muscle, we have the program for you AND we will teach you tools to make this new lifestyle a part of your every day routine.
As part of the University's Wellness initiative, the Department of Human Resources is offering discounted program rates for benefits-eligible faculty and staff participants. In each tier below, the first 20 eligible university employees to register will receive a 50% discount!
ALL of the "Get Fit for Life" program tiers (see below) include the following amenities:
- Access to 121 Fitness Center for 8-weeks
- Health Risk Assessment (HRA)
- Weekly weigh ins
- Special classes, group meetings and events
- Weekly motivational emails, tips and information
- PRIZES!
Get "Fit for Life" is an 8-week success program offering four (4) tiers to choose from. All tiers include the above, but have different focuses and prices. Current 121 Fitness Center members do receive a discounted rate that can be found on the registration page.
- Take it Off! is a national, 12-week weight loss program designed for those who need to lose over 20lbs (visit the TIO website). TIO combines sensible eating, regular exercise and lifestyle changes to help you lose weight and keep it off for a lifetime. Click here for more details on TIO. Price: $24.92/week for 1x/week coaching, $33.25/week for 2x/week coaching. You may also add personal training sessions at a discounted rate. Note: The TIO program is 12-weeks long. For the Get "Fit For Life" Challenge, data will be taken at the 8-week point, but your program (and access to all the above) will continue through December 26th!
- Choose to Lose is our successful, 8-week exercise-based weight loss program and includes 30-min personal training sessions each week. Price: $30 per week. You may add more personal training sessions at a discounted rate.
- Get Active! is an 8-week program that ocuses on toning or muscle building and includes 30-min personal training sessions each week. Price: $30 per week. You may add more personal training sessions at a discounted rate.
- Basic offers the amenities included in the above programs, without personal training or individual coaching. Price $20 per week.

On-line registration will open Monday, September 20th at 10am. Registration must be completed on-line to receive the discount provided by Human Resources. You will be contacted as soon as possible to confirm your registration status. Payment must be received within (2) business days of registration to secure your discount and payments are non-refundable.
