Color Workshop in Oils
with Jonathan Linton
October 7 - 9, 2010
Announcing a new workshop with Jonathan Linton.
Thursday - Oct. 7 • 7-10pm
Jonathan will demonstrate an alla prima approach to portraiture. This oil painting demonstration is open to all - there is no fee to attend.
Friday & Saturday - Oct. 8-9 • 9am-4pm
Workshop participants will enjoy learning about color theory while strengthening their ability to perceive and mix colors in oil paint through specially designed exercises. These exercises will culminate with the creation of a finished full-color still life painting rendered from nature.
The workshop fee is $225, payable with check, credit card, or PayPal. This workshop is for all levels - beginners and advanced painters - as Jonathan will give individual instruction and attention to each student throughout the workshop.
For travel and accommodations information click here. For additional help and information, please contact Elizabeth Salim, firstname.lastname@example.org, 804-349-5928.
A materials list will be sent upon registration.
Picasso once said: "There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot, but there are others who, thanks to their art and intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun." We are going to learn how to make suns.
The workshop size is limited, so don't miss your chance to attend.
Hope you can join us.
