Rebel Buddha Toronto

A full day event of teachings, discussion and discovery around key questions of spiritual life, religion and culture with Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, author of forthcoming Rebel Buddha. Following Dzogchen Ponlop's remarks, a panel discussion moderated by Barry Boyce will follow featuring Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, Dr. Polly Young-Eisendrath (Polly is a Jungian analyst and psychologist who has been in clinical practice for more than 25 years and has published fourteen books) and Mitra Tyler Dewar (senior Nalandabodhi teacher and translator).

Throughout the morning and afternoon sessions and in different formats – teachings, music and video, contemplative exercises, discussion –  participants and panelists will explore the current state and the future of Western Buddhism, and the experience of the modern-day traveler on this road to freedom.

The Rebel Buddha book event is a unique opportunity to hear from some of the most compelling voices on the North American Buddhist scene and to join with them to explore and investigate key questions of spiritual life and meaning.  For more information on Rebel Buddha, please visit www.rebelbuddha.com.
