Learning anatomy with Martin is inspiring and uplifting. He artistically weaves anatomy, yoga poses, Anusara philosophy and John Friend’s elegant Universal Principles of Alignment™ in such a way that the majesty and understanding of the human body is beautifully revealed.  Martin has a gift of being able to educate total beginners while engaging the sustained interest of the yoga specialists, bodywork professionals and medical students/professionals.  All have said their understanding of the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment as well their personal practice have gone to a whole new level of mastery after Martin's training.

This weekend is perfect for Yoga Teachers, Yoga Practitioners, Massage and Bodywork Therapists!

All sessions count toward CE hours - approved by the NCBTMB 

This special weekend with Martin Kirk (his only visit to the Midwest in 2011!) will consist of four 3-hour anatomy sessions and a bonus Master Yoga Class on Friday afternoon.

*The Master Yoga Class is an interactive play-filled format that allows the teacher and students to be on the mat together in a class that creates itself from the dynamics of the movement.  This session will be customized for the students who attend in a way that will challenge you just to your own level or ability, or more if you wish!

Master Yoga Class: $40
Each Individual Anatomy Session: $50
Full Anatomy Weekend: $175 (save $25!)
Full Anatomy Plus Master Yoga Class: $195 (save $45!)

Martin Kirk, RYT, MSBME is a Certified Anusara Yoga® Instructor who travels abroad offering excellent and inspiring workshops, Immersions, Anatomy, Therapy and Teacher Trainings.  With a Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Martin has a special gift for anatomy and therapeutics.  He is an author of the highly successful book, Hatha Yoga Illustrated and co-author (along with Jordan Kirk and Ellen Saltonstall) of the upcoming Yoga Anatomy: The Biomechanics of Anusara Yoga.  Martin lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife and son. www.kirkyoga.com  Martin Kirk

To register for this event online, click on the Register Now! button below.  You will have the option to pay online or by check (checks should be sent to Source Yoga Center - details are given on the registration page).  You can also mail in a completed registration form with your check instead of registering online.  Full payment is required to reserve your space in any of the sessions.  Refunds may be given for cancellations prior to March 1, 2011, minus a 10% cancellation fee.  No refunds will be given beginning on March 1, 2011 unless your space can be filled from a waiting list.
