The BrandEquation: How to Sum Up Your Nonprofit Brand

What is a brand, and why does a nonprofit need one? The short answer is that your brand is your reputation, and you already have one, so you should make sure it’s saying what you want it to. Mission Minded’s new BrandEquation workshop is designed to demystify the concept of brand and teach nonprofit organizations how to actively shape their brand to attract new supporters, re-engage current ones and ensure that it conveys your organization’s values and personality.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

  • Understand the concept of brand, and how it applies to their nonprofit organization
  • Know how to create the components that go into building a successful brand: values, personality, value proposition and positioning statement.
  • Understand the process used to arrive at an organization’s brand promise—the most salient point about an organization.

This workshop is for nonprofit leaders and communications staff interested in building a solid brand architecture as the foundation for their communications work.
