OWL Facilitator Training - Grades 7 to 12 

This session takes place at The Walker Center in Auburndale, MA. Facilitators for this training are Jane Detwiler and Rev. David Proctor.

The weekend runs from Friday check-in 5-6 pm through Sunday afternoon at 3 pm. See the sample schedule breakdown here. OWL trainers expect that all registrants will be present for the complete training. They have found that coming late and leaving early is disruptive to the group building process and can hinder work that is to be done in small groups. We therefore advise  participations to stay overnight if they can, though this is not required.

Our fee for a training is $300 which includes instruction, room and board. Particpants must bring their own copies of OWL curriculum and companion book on Sexuality and Faith. These can be ordered through the UUA Bookstore at the following links:

ADDITIONAL NOTES

$300 includes the training, two nights lodging, meals and snacks. Anyone who might need lodging the night before or after the training should make arrangements directly with the Walker Center.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Cancellation prior to the registration deadline will be subject to a $25 handling fee.
• Cancellations made after the registration deadline but a week or more before the training will be subject to a $150 fee, unless a replacement is arranged, in which case a $25 handling fee still applies.
  
• Refunds for cancellations made within the week prior to the training will be given only under extreme circumstances and at the discretion of the MBD office.
