Join Western Bariatric Institute at the legendary Harrah Family Ranch--Rancharrah, on May 21, 2011 for Life Inspired; an afternoon of inspiration and transformation, and a benefit for the Obesity Prevention Foundation.The day will begin on the Rancharrah estate with an extraordinary luncheon and will transition to the evening at our 9th Annual Fashion Show in the Reno Ballroom--(this location was changed from the Rancharrah Horse Arena).

The Interactive Gourmet Luncheon

At eleven o'clock am, the event will begin with a private tour of the cutting gardens by some of our region's star chefs. Each chef will tour guests through the gardens speaking specifically to their upcoming courses. This interactive gourmet luncheon will begin at 11:45, and will utilize healthy, seasonal, local farm fresh food and will feature inspirational speaker and NBC's Biggest Loser winner, Michelle Aguliar. Our luncheon atttendance includes admission and vip seating at the Fashion Show. (see details below)

The 9th Annual WBI Fashion Show

Doors open at five o'clock pm, and at seven o'clock pm an extraordinary Fashion Show will ensue in the Reno Ballroom. You are invited to celebrate our models who have triumphed over cursing odds and hopelessness. You will hear personal stories of inspiration, hope and transformation. The show will also feature celebrity models, a vip reception and live entertainment, featuring the Romantics. The Beneficiaries

Life Inspired is a benefit for the Obesity Prevention Foundation (OPF) with a focus on fighting the obesity problem in a very innocent and vulnerable population; the children. The Obesity Prevention Foundation was established by the surgeons of Western Bariatric Institute to bring awareness of the growing number of children and adolescents affected by this debilitating disease. The Foundation Board of Director's has chosen Urban Roots Classroom Gardens as one of the beneficiaries of the 2011 event. Additionally, The OPF Wellness Scholarship Program will provide a scholarship to a child, age 12-18,  who will be given a 12 week medically-supervised weight loss journey from OPF partner,  iMetabolic Medical weight loss center. This child will become the 2011 Youth Ambassador for OPF and will be a introduced at the event.
