Program Description:
Stormwater Training and Discussion; and
Outgoing and Incoming Officers
The MSA San Diego Area Chapter is kicking off the new year with some interesting training and discussion on stormwater issues.
Our speaker will be Daniel Lottermoser, Drainage Engineer with the City of San Diego, and he will talk about BMP's. Municipalities are required to develop and implement a comprehensive stormwater management program including the reduction of pollutants from municipal operations. A planning process is suggested for municipal operations, which allows the municipality to identify the activities that generate pollutants and the best management practices (BMPs) applicable to the activities.
