Description:
This world needs heroes and Glitter & Razz is answering the call.  Brave boys will build their own civilizations, defeat their enemies, and protect the world from all injustice.  They will learn the importance of teamwork and be celebrated through a variety of art forms as star in their very own film that they create themselves.

What You Can Expect at Active Imagination Summer Arts Camp for Boys:

• Led by Phil Weglarz, expressive artist and licensed therapist, Active Imagination is a full-bodied, interactive arts experience for personal development to enhance social skills and expand methods of self-expression.
• Tons of hands-on, child-led, physical exploration of a variety of art forms including drama, creative movement, visual art (both 2D and large-scale 3D) and multi-media/digital arts
• Plenty of free play time and rest time to hang out with friends, new and old, and just be kids - this includes a special trip to nearby Frog Park
• Support in their social/emotional skill development as they learn to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and navigate both positive and negative emotions in the context of a caring and peaceful community – inspired by some of the best and latest thinking in social/emotional development specific to boys
• An opportunity to shine on stage as part of the final performance, celebration, and film screening on the final day of camp

Details:

• Tuesday July 5 - Friday July 15, 2011
• 9am - 4pm with Aftercare Available until 5:30
• Final Performance at 3:00pm on Friday July 15 (no aftercare on the final day)
• For rising 1st-5th grade boys (approx. ages 6-10)
• You provide food for lunch and 2 snacks.  We provide plenty of water throughout the day

• The price is $585 and $1130 for 2 siblings.
•  We require a $100 deposit to hold your place for camp (even if you are applying for a scholarship). This deposit is non-refundable. Your remaining balance is due June 1, 2011.*
  
  *Cancellation Policy - In the event of a cancellation before June 1st, we refund your balance in full (less the deposit). If you cancel after June 1st, we refund your balance less an extra $50 cancellation fee and your initial deposit. If you cancel within 30 days of the first day of your summer camp, we will issue you a credit in the full amount of your balance (less the deposit and cancellation fee) for you to use towards a future Glitter & Razz camp or class. This credit is non-transferable and will be valid for 365 days.
