2011 Diversity is a Way of LIFE Conference 

Diversity is a Way of L.I.F.E is a statewide conference presented by the Rhode Island College student organization L.I.F.E that brings together educators, students, artist and community-based activist’s to build a movement to develop and promote dialogue and diversity as a mode of social existence
 
The conference is a safe forum in which groups can learn from and teach each other by sharing knowledge, experience and strategies. It supports the use of dialogue as a tool for building bridges and fostering an equitable community. “Diversity is not an option in the real world," participants will gain an opportunity to engage in dialogue, generate awareness of the issues and foster enthusiasm for addressing them, while providing a model that can be adapted for individual campus dialogue opportunities.
