A Pedagogy for Royalty: Educating the Next Generation in the Paideia of the King of Kings

You're invited you to attend the 2011 ARIHE Symposium at New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho, September 15-17. The Symposium, sponsored by the Association of Reformed Institutions of Higher Education (ARIHE.org), will focus on pedagogy and the roles of Reformed college faculty and staff members in teaching-mentoring the next generation in “the paideia of the Lord” (Eph. 6:4). The Symposium will address classroom instruction, service learning, and other educational approaches and methods at our Reformed institutions of higher education.

The goal of the 2011 Symposium is to advance a reformational vision for how we teach, mentor, and encourage the royal heirs of the King of Kings on our Reformed campuses and beyond.

Beginning with a keynote address and opening reception Thursday night, the Symposium will run all day Friday through Saturday noon. The 2011 ARIHE Symposium will feature the New Saint Andrews faculty and students, and faculty from ARIHE member institutions. Sessions include panels made up of Reformed college faculty, staff and students, “recitation” demonstrations, workshops, and discussion sessions. 

Registration Deadline: August 15, 2011

The registration costs include all symposium activities, two lunches, one dinner, refreshments and admission to the Friday evening concert.

• Individual Rate: $120 
• Group Discount 3-4: $95 (per person for 3 or 4 paying participants from your institution)
• Group Discount 5+: $80 (per person for five or more paying participants from your institution)
• Student Rate: $60 
• Designated ARIHE Institutional Representatives (ARIHE institution president or appointee): No charge.
