Helping Young Children with

Special Mental Health Needs

Professionals will learn some basic facts about mental illness in young children as well as some general and specific strategies they can use to help with the special needs of the children in their care.  This workshop is presented by Beverly Celotta, Ph.D., Consulting Pscychologist, TLC.  (Core of Knowledge: Special Needs) 

• ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT 11:00 A.M. THE DAY OF THE WORKSHOP.
• FEE:  All Workshops are $30.00 per person if registered in advance; $35.00 AT THE DOOR.
• Register early ––  space is limited.  We will contact you only in the event the class has been cancelled or is full.
• Fee includes materials, refreshments and discussion period to address specific concerns of participants.
• All workshops are held at TLC at 2301 Research Blvd., Suite 110, Rockville, MD 20850.
• Workshops qualify for Continuing Education Credit with the Office of Child Care (OCC) (Provider #CKO-30975).  Topics have also been submitted to the Maryland Board of Examiners for speech-language pathologists and audiologists for Continuing Education credit.  Call TLC prior to registration to confirm approval for MD BOE.
• Walk-ins should call ahead (301.424.5200) to make sure the workshop is being held & isn’t full. 
• TLC reserves the right to cancel a workshop for insufficient enrollment. 
• Advance cancellation notice of three days is required for a refund.
