As a path of inner transformation, Buddhism offers a non-dogmatic approach to compassionate living and mindful exploration of the heart and mind. In his life and teaching, the Buddha showed how meditation, when imbued with the wish to alleviate the suffering of others, can lead to a deep insight into the workings of the mind and uproot the causes of suffering.
In this evening talk, Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen will discuss the the key principles of Buddhism and what they have to offer the modern world. With his characteristic humor and a remarkable ability to make the ancient wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism relevant to our everday lives, Lama Tenpa's discussion is sure to be both inspiring and thought-provoking.
