Pittsburgh Entrepreneur Conference & Trade Show presented by the WSBA

This conference is an annual event presented by the Women's Small Business Association.  The event provides a great day of education, professional development and networking for local entrepreneurs.  This year's program was created directly from feedback by our membership of over 700 women small business owners. 

The event includes a full day of education, networking and our signature Honoring Extraordinary Women Awards Luncheon.  

8:30 - 9:30 am: Registration/Breakfast/Networking

9:30 - 10:30 am: Starting at the End: Envisioning Your Dream by Diane Mead, President and CEO of Bethany Hospice and Sam Angelo, Vice President of Bethany Hospice.   In this session you will learn how clear visions create paths to guaranteed success.

 10:45 - 11:45 am: Jump Start Your Social Media Program by Michael Rethage of MTR Creativity.  You will leave this session with a road map on how to effectively use social media to grow your business.

12 - 1:15 pm: Honoring Extraordinary Women Awards Lunch with Keynote Speaker Tom Baker of Baker Leadership.

1:30 - 2:30 pm: Networking Your Small Business Creatively and Affordably by Rebecca Harris, Director of the Center for Women's Entrepreneurship at Chatham University.  Walk away with great ideas and tips on how to spend your time and money effectively when it comes to networking!

2:45 - 3:45 pm: Creating Your Marketing Game Plan a panel of local marketing experts.  How do you choose which marketing mix is going to grow your business? Join us for a panel discussion on creating a marketing strategy that fits your business goals and budget.   Susan Brozek Scott Founder and CEO of Afterschool Buddy will moderate the discussion.  The esteemed panelists include Cindy Neky of Marketing Pathways, Kristi Hilbert of 3 Rivers Wealth Management Group and Stephen Eckert of Eckert Marketing.

4 - 6 pm:  Networking Reception at Frescos (restaurant attached to the Chadwick).

AM Package:  The morning package includes breakfast with open networking, access to exhibitors, two morning sessions and the awards lunch.  Time commitment: 8:30 am – 1:15 pm
