Safe Start San Diego 2011 Conference

"Working Together to Support Children & Families Impacted by Violence"

SSC6

The Safe Start San Diego 2011 Conference is a free, full day event designed for professionals from any discipline

that serve children, youth and families.  Featuring leading local and national experts, keynote presentations and breakout sessions will reflect the conference theme of "Making the Connection: Environment and Violence".

The goal of this year's conference is to provide family and youth violence-related training opportunities that reflect current research and effective models and interventions that span the continuum of prevention to intervention to policy.  This conference will showcase evidenced-based programs and best-practices that will serve to both inform and illustrate local San Diego efforts. Conference participants will be able to choose from and attend a diverse range of training opportunities that fall within four primary content areas, or tracks. Participants may register for sessions across any of the tracks offered.
