The discussion between Junger and O'Hanlon will focus on Junger's most recent book, WAR. The book documents Junger's time embedded with a United States Army platoon, from 2007 to 2008, in Afghanistan, and chronicles the psychological and social elements of combat and the unbreakable bonds that are formed between platoon mates. Junger's experience is also the focus of the documentary Restrepo which won the Grand Jury Prize for a domestic documentary at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. The film was also a 2011 Academy Award nominee for Best Documentary Feature.

A book sale and signing will follow the discussion.
