Gardenia Jewelry
Stacy Harkins of Gardenia Jewelry grew up as part of The Artisans family and began making and selling jewelry while in middle school. Her studies in Horticulture (Cornell, '07) cultivated a deep appreciation for natural color juxtapositions, as well as the beautiful and intricate details found in flowers and plants. Many of these nature-inspired colors and forms can be seen translated into her jewelry designs.
Using genuine gemstones and high quality metals, Stacy creates each piece by hand in her studio in New Haven, Connecticut. Her pieces feature delicate wire-wrapping and wire-weaving, executed with precision and attention to detail. She also handcrafts all of her earwires, clasps and hoop earrings, lending her work the textural element of hand-hammered metals.
Gardenia Jewelry combines natural inspirations with the rich colors of gemstones, resulting in lush and sparkling color palettes, and pieces with a romantic yet organic feeling.
