Sustainable Tribal Forestry Seminar 

About This Seminar

Examine policy issues related to sustainable tribal forestry practices, tribal case studies applying forest carbon credits, learn about new market tax credits and how they can be used to purchase tribal lands, reinvest into tribal natural resources and energy projects, learn how FSC certification can benefit tribal forest products, and integrating watershed restoration activities. Includes a half day field tour to Ecotrust Garibaldi Forest.

Who Should Attend:

Tribal - Council, Leaders, Committee and Commission Members, Management Staff, Elected Officials, Attorneys.

Seminar begins promptly at 9:00am on Monday. Registration begins at 8:00am.

Days 1-2: Tribal Policy Leaders to attend

Days 1-4: Tribal Staff to attend

Your Registration Includes Hotel Accommodations if registered on or before July 15th, 2011!****

  3. Tribal - Council, Leaders, Committee and Commission Members (2 Days):  Event Fee $300 (without hotel accommodations)
  4. Tribal - Management Staff, Elected Officials, and Attorneys (3 1/2 Days): Event Fee $600 (without hotel accommodations)
