Spring Retreat 2011

Dear Kristina,

Join the Community Energy Network for our Spring Retreat.

The Community Energy Network of Eastern Ontario is a broad community network  focused on green energy.   The network is a collaboration of organizations, businesses, community groups, and partners who have taken the Community Energy Network Pledge and are working together to promote renewable energy production, energy efficiency, and conservation.  Initiatives of the network including promoting best practices, green jobs and mentorships, educational workshops, community co-operatives, and information-sharing. 

The Spring Retreat will focus on best practices and opportunities for collaboration within the network.  Details about available funding for energy-related workshops will be discussed and unique case studies will be showcased.
 
Please bring an update from your organization for our intro roundtable so we can keep connected and find ways to collaborate!

10:30: Roundtable of Organizations and Activities within Eastern Ontario

 

All participants are asked to speak for 5 minutes about their organization and any specific energy efficiency and renewable energy-related initiatives they are focusing on.

 

12:00: Lunch & Networking

 

1:00: Panel Discussion: Green Energy Case Studies within Eastern Ontario

A free of $25 will be billed to any registrants/organizations who do not attend the event without prior cancellation (with at least 48 hours notice).
