Join Chef Deegan McClung in Jeffrey's private dining cottage, the Josephine House, for a five-course tasting dinner. A native of New Orleans,
McClung, made his Austin debut at Wink, where he began his devotion to local ingredients and built relationships with area farmers and purveyors. Then,
he was wooed away by Tyson Cole at Uchi, and after a post-Katrina stint in his hometown, McClung returned to Austin and has been offering a
refined "New Southern" menu at Jeffrey's. He is known for integrating influences from classic French, Creole, Southern and Asian cuisines. He has been
recognized by The Fearless Critic, 3rd Edition as one of the top five restaraunts in the city, and by Eater.com as the Best Chef for 2010.
The evening will begin with sparkling wine and passed appetizers
followed by a five-course tasting menu,
with each course featuring First of the Season Heirloom Tomatoes
