The Pike is changing. And it is changing at a fast pace. New residential buildings and attractive commercial space is replacing what just two years ago was a tired and decaying urban landscape. The Revitalization process has already added 1,200 net new households on the Pike and new projects are in the pipeline. Significant public and private investment is converging along the entire length of the corridor.
The annual Pike Progress Luncheon is the premier event bringing together the development community around the Revitalization of Columbia Pike.  It's the place where developers, land owners, financiers and real estate brokers, come to meet and network.

This year, we are thrilled to celebrate the completion of the Penrose Square apartment building and the return of a 60K SQF Giant Food, a major grocery store and an energizer of the Pike Town Center's commercial landscape.

It will be our pleasure if you are able to join us.

This year's event will feature an expert panel discussion with business leaders who are deeply involved in past, current, and future developments on the Pike.
Panelists will include:
  • Anita Morisson, Principal of Partners for Economic Solutions and a senior economist with the consulting team currently supporting the Columbia Pike Land Use and Housing Study
  • Dan Lockard, Vice President, Fraser Forbes Real Estate Services and President of CPRO.
  • Tad Lunger, Land Use Attorney with Bean Kinney & Korman PC. Member of the CPRO Board.
  • Dante Lorenzana, Vice President, Wells Fargo Bank, Member of the CPRO Board.
Opening remarks by:
  • Chris Zimmerman, Chairman, Arlington County Board
  • Mike Ballenger, Store Manager, Col. Pike Giant Food
Update on the Columbia Pike Streetcar Project:
  • Steve Del Giudice, Arlington County, Transit Bureau Chief.
