Free NC Hunter Safety Class

You are invited to our Free Hunter Education Course.

This course is great for beginning or seasoned hunters. Even non hunters who would like a free firearms safety course will enjoy this one day class.

The Hunter Education Course includes information about hunter responsibility, wildlife conservation and management, firearms, wildlife identification, survival and first aid, specialty hunting and tree stand safety. The free course is a minimum of 10 hours and is accepted in every state and province in North America. All first-time license buyers must successfully complete a hunter education course before they can hunt in North Carolina or purchase a hunting license. There is no minimum age required to take the course. There is a 50 question test that must be passed to receive your Hunter Safety card.

This class meets the requirement to purchase a hunting license in all 50 States.

There is no live fire in this class. Do not bring firearms or ammunition into the classroom! Do bring a bag lunch and any snacks you will need.
