Wicked Bugs: An Evening with Amy Stewart

About the Evening

Wicked Bugs Cover ImageEnjoy a delightfully sinister evening with Amy Stewart, author of WICKED BUGS: The Louse that Conquered Napoleon’s Army & Other Diabolical Insects as she crawls through the research that wormed its way into her newest book. From horrific to bizarre, learn about the strange places bugs appear in pop culture, relationships, science, travel and, last but not least, the garden.

About the Exhibit

Wicked Plants bannerWicked Plants: Botanical Rogues and Assassins interprets the New York Times Bestselling book Wicked Plants: The Weed that Killed Lincoln’s Mother & Other Botanical Atrocities by Amy Stewart. The exhibition features over 30 species of wicked plants from those with famously scandalous histories to those that grow “innocently” in millions of gardens and homes today. Visitors can enjoy corresponding excerpts from Amy Stewart’s book full of bloodcurdling tales and original botanical etchings by Briony Morrow-Cribbs.
