We are again offer a workshop for adult writers to improve thier craft and their chances of publication. There are no prerequisites, and all are welcome to join. The only requirements are a willingness to work hard and improve your work and a sharpened pencil!
What: Five week workshop taught by Portland author Susan Blackaby. Participants will be given the opportunity to interact hands-on with professional published authors (additional authors in residence TBA). Workshop classes will focus on writing skills, editing, forming a writing community and publishing.
Who: We are looking for people who are passionate about writing. There is no pre-requisite for this course, because it is designed to work with participants at their own level. We ask only that you come willing to write, share and learn. Maximum workshop size: 15. Participants in the Spring/Summer workshop are also welcome and will be able to continue in their progress. New participants will also find a supportive, encouraging group that offers a lot of constructive feedback and encouragement.
When: Wednesday evenings 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Sessions meet on July 13, 27; August 10, 24; September 7
