The National Alliance for Public Safety GIS Foundation, the National States Geographic Information Council, and the US Department of Homeland Security - are co-hosting a webcast training to provide  public safety & emergency services personnell and GIS/IT professionals with training on how to use the DHS Geospatial Concept of Operations (GeoCONOPs) and NAPSG's Standard Operating Guidance to advance coordination with GIS in your public safety agency(s). 

  • Learn how your agency(s) can leverage GeoCONOPS, NAPSG SOG, and other GIS-focused SOP resources as a tool to guide GIS strategic planning & coordination to enhance public safety operations
  • Gain knowledge for how the GeoCONOPS serves as a mission blueprint & requirements matrix for technology, map products, data, and interoperability standards
  • Develop ideas for how to use & tailor the NAPSG SOG as a sample template to build a SOP to guide map production, information sharing, & delivery to support emergency operations.
