Great Life Coaching Certification
Cerification as a Great Life Coach is a week-long workshop that trains you in The Great Life Coaching Model. The Model is based on the methods, strategies and tools from the Amazon International Bestseller The 5 Keys to the Great Life. This model allows you to quickly engage your clients in understanding their true potential so that they can work toward unlocking their great lives.
Great Life Coaching differs from other types of life coaching because it follows a specific model designed to achieve specific outcomes. It was written and based on proven principles in Instructional Technology, Leadership, and Systems Thinking. Many life coaches don’t follow a specific model, simply trying to resolve issues raised by the client.
The Great Life Coaching Model is a system that uncovers leverage points that allow for quick change. The Model also allows the client to quickly see structural conflicts that limit personal growth. By using a system, the client can organize, categorize, and put words to their own life concerns, which expedites personal growth.
Unlike any other coaching program, The Great Life Coaching Model is designed around life’s compelling questions that we all want to answer. Richard Leider, in his potent book The Power of Purpose: Find Meaning, Live Longer, Better, discusses those compelling life questions:
In childhood we ask, Who am I? In adolescence, the question becomes What do I want to be when I grow up? In young adulthood we want to know what is my calling? In “middlessence” we mull over What’s calling me next? In young older adulthood, the question becomes How do I grow whole, not old? In elderhood we ask, What’s my legacy?
The Great Life Coaching Model is full of useful tools, strategies, and methods that allow the client to quickly see what he or she wants out of life, how to get it, and what might be limiting achievement of those life goals. The Model was designed to answer those compelling life questions Richard Leider found to haunt us all.

Prerequisites: The Great Life Intensive is a prerequisite for The Great Life Coaching Certification.
PLEASE NOTE: You must have a background in counseling, social work, coaching or other helping profession to register for this workshop.

Friday, October 7, 2011 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Lunch is on your own each day.
Cost: $999.00 (or $850 if you registered and attended the Great Life Intensive in August)
Certified Great Life Coaches can take this course as a refresher for $450.00.

Facilitators for this event: Dr. Tomi W. Bryan and Mrs. Judy Johnson
Dr. Tomi Bryan is a mad scientist-type with a great sense of humor. She loves building systems and sharing those with the world to help make us more effective human beings. She has a crzay background that suits her mad scientist lifestyle. Dr. Tomi's practical/scientific training includes a J.D. from Wake Forest University (where she met the love of her life, Jim Bryan), a Ph.D. in Organizational Design and Leadership from Walden University, a B.A. in Political Science from North Carolina State University, and certification by The Leadership Circle in their many useful leadership tools and workshops. Her not so practical/less-then-scientific training includes being certified as a soul coach and as a past-life regression coach and being trained in reading the Akashic Records. She has attended Psychic Kindergarten, Energetic Matrix training, and Reiki training. She considers herself a mystic in the journey of life, here to be of service to others and to reduce the world's suffering.
Ms. Judy Johnson is an amazingly creative force in the world. She loves designing meaningful and compelling workshop materials for Leadership Worx. Judy's training experience is broad and varied. She has considerable experience and a distinguished reputation in the field of training. Her training experience includes developing and implementing a variety of statewide government certification training programs for the states of Louisiana and Florida. She also has a broad array of experiences in the social services realm. She spent several years working as a probation and parole officer and social worker in the fields of criminal and juvenile justice. She also served as director of the social services department for a residential facility for the developmentally disabled and administrator of a statewide child abuse hotline. Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Education, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Judy leverages her human experiences from her social work days in the criminal justice system to help others live big and boldly in their own shoes. Her compassion and love for others knows no bounds.
