PERMACULTURE OFFERS POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO A PLANET IN CRISIS
Permaculture is a design science that brings together nature, earth sciences and human intelligence to develop positive solutions to create healthy and sustainable environments and build resiliant communities. Permaculture has accumulated over 35 years of experimentation and application around the world, urban and rural, in all climates and with diverse cultures.
PERMACULTURE DESIGN COURSE
The Permaculture Design Certificate course is an internationally-recognized course resulting in a Permaculture Design Certificate. While the course minimums are 72 hours, we are offering you a more in depth 2 week intensive (with Halloween off) so that you may truly apply your permaculture skills as a graduate. The course includes the application of permaculture principles to food production, home design/ construction, energy conservation/generation, and explores alternative economic structures and legal strategies supporting permaculture solutions. Credit for this course is now accepted by a growing number of universities around the world.
Certification from this course empowers you to develop a professional permaculture design, consultation and instruction business. As graduate, you will find yourself a member of an exceptional international community of permaculturists. If you desire, you can work in much needed AID somewhere in the world. As a graduate, you will also be eligible to attend the next stimulating International Permaculture Conference and Convergence in 2013 and create a network of permaculture practioner friends from around the world.
LEARN TO USE NATURE AS YOUR PATTERN FOR FOOD PRODUCTION, HOUSING, AND COMMUNITY
Permaculture provides a framework for consciously designed landscapes that mimic the patterns and relationships found in nature. These systems yield an abundance of shelter, water, energy, and food for the provision of local needs that provide diversity, stability, and resilience for local populations.

COURSE FEES
We know that many people who care for the Earth would like to take this class. Considering the economic downturn, we are lowering the price of the course.
In 2009, this Permaculture Design Course class was $1450.
For Fall 2011, we have reduced the course fee to $1350 . This is a bargain for a two week design course of this caliber with Internationally acclaimed Robyn Francis of Australia.
Note: We have one work trade available for one member of a partnership, where one pays full price and the second pays $500 and does work trade....helping with the food.
Please register to let us know of your interest by filling out the registration form now. Give us a $300 deposit and come back and pay when you can.

group is doing on the planet. We don't know what details of a truly
sustainable future are going to be like, but we need options, we need
people experimenting in all kinds of ways and permaculturists are one of
the critical gangs that are doing that."
