Where’s Ollie?
Ollie the Onion has a lot of a-peel.
He sprouted up in Sherwood;
To have a good meal.
Craving some, beans, and Firemen’s Chicken;
He headed to Archer Glen;
For food that’s finger lickin’.
Contests and shopping, music and friends;
Ollie has a blast at the Great Onion Festival;
From 9 am until 4, when it ends.
The second Saturday in October, next year;
We’ll find him again;
Aromatic and sweet, Ollie the Onion brings Sherwood cheer!
His pals say he has them laughing until they cry;
His joy shared throughout the community;
He’s just that loveable of a guy.
