Building a Shared Understanding of School Readiness

Each school year children served by Head Start and Child Development Services meet public school staff at the school door.

These forums are designed to build a shared local understanding of school readiness and how a community approach towards readiness and transitions can benefit children and families and create a path for future school success.

Intended audience: Public School Administrators; Head Start Directors, Education Managers and Family Service Managers; CDS Directors and Case Managers.
