2011 Pegasus Project Celebration

Pegasus Youth

Put on your party hat to celebrate and support a great program! This year the Pegasus Project expanded by taking even more young people sailing on the bay, collaborating with new partners, and training a junior crew.

Pegasus Project's mission is to enable youth to become productive members of a sustainable society by providing positive outdoor evironmental education and reinforcing life skills. No child will be left ashore. Please join us in celebrating an exhilarating year of sailing experiences with local youth.

Enjoy live music, tours of S/V Pegasus, an Indian feast by Chef Irfan Dama, a silent auction, an awards presentation, and an inspiring guest speaker. We are excited to welcome Karen Thorndike. Karen holds a Guinness world record as the first American woman to complete a sail solo around the world, a 33,000-mile odyssey over some of the most ferocious seas on earth.
