Join the San Francisco Bay Area Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) for a lunch meeting focused on California's High Speed Rail. The meeting panel will provide a project update, including opportunities and challenges to its implementation. 

PRESENTERS

• Randy Rentschler, Metropolitan Transportation Commission's Manager of Legislation and Public Affairs, presenting “California High Speed Rail: Update and MTC's role in the planning of the project in the Bay Area”
• Marian Lee, Executive Officer for Planning and Development at Caltrain, presenting “Caltrain plans and projects that benefit high speed rail implementation”
• Brock Winstead, a representative from Senator Joe Simitian's office, presenting "An alternative plan for the implementation of high speed rail in the Bay Area"

RSVP/CANCELLATION DEADLINE

The RSVP and cancellation deadline is Monday, October 17. Those who RSVP by Friday, October 15 will be entered into a drawing for a $25 prepaid credit card. Cancellations can be received by email at cancel@sfbayite.org.  Seating capacity is limited to 70.
