After a positive first half, the M&A and capital markets have been roiled in the second half of 2011, driven by uncertainties over the European sovereign debt crisis, the U.S. “Super Committee” budget debates and fears of another pending global recession. What impact has this turmoil had on chemical industry M&A? Where are the opportunities and what is the outlook for the next twelve months?
Join friends and colleagues from the chemical, investment, insurance and financial professions for a unique panel discussion on “The Anatomy of a Deal”. This special event is sponsored and moderated by Houlihan Lokey, the leading North American M&A advisor based on transaction volume. The panel will examine current issues in M&A in the Chemical Industry from its own first-hand perspective. No airy trend-spotting from observers sitting in the stands! This session features only “players on the field” who will speak first-hand on what they experience daily in the world of Chemicals M&A. The five panelists are key players from each of the following areas: Investment Banking, Equity Investing, Lending, Insurance, and of course, the senior corporate M&A strategy executive.
