The "Ultimate" Triathlon Camp 2012

This camp is hands down the best value in Triathlon Camps. Fantastic skills session including group open water swimming, an incredibly rich educational experience with lactic testing, underwater swim video and sports nutrition, and some challenging and fun training as well, and much more. Finish the week with an amazing race experience. Go home happy and tired, with the tools to race better than ever this season. 

Join us for the Monday to Friday June 11-15th prior to the 17th anniversary Saunder’s Subaru Triathlon at Elk Lake in Victoria (on June 17th). Lead by Olympic Gold Medal and Ironman Champion Coaches Lance Watson and Paul Regensburg and some of the Sport’s top professionals, the Victoria Ultimate Camp offers many unique opportunities and an incredible triathlon experience in beautiful Victoria, Canada. Victoria’s clear lakes, endless soft trails, scenic rides, and world class aquatic center are our playground! The same training grounds enjoyed by Ironman legend Peter Reid, Olympic Gold Medalist Simon Whitfield, and X-Terra World Champion Melanie McQuaid.

1:00pm - 2:00pm: Meet and Greet.
2:00pm - 3:30pm: Technical Swim and Stroke Filming - Saanich Commonwealth Place
4:00pm -5:30pm: Swim Video Analysis.

8:00am - 5:00pm: Bike Lactate Testing, Training Zone Determination + Aerobic ride cool down
10:00am - 11:00am: Yoga, group 1
2:00pm - 3:00pm: Yoga, group 2
6:00pm: Group Social

8:00am - 10:00am: Run Seminar and Run Intervals – Howard Johnson Hotel; Beaver/Elk Lake
10:30am - 11:30am: Swim Seminar: Open Water Strategies - Howard Johnson Hotel
11:45am - 1:00pm: Swim Intervals - Saanich Commonwealth Place
3:30pm - 5:00pm: Bike Skills and Grass Drills, light intervals.

8:45am: - 10:30am: Open water swim, Tempo Trainer (stroke rate) session – Elk Lake
11:00am - 12:00am: Nutrition Seminar Race Planning - Howard Johnson Hotel
1:30pm - 4:30pm: Base Ride – Howard Johnson Hotel

7:45am - 9:00am: Open Water Swim - Thetis Lake
10:00am - 12:00pm: Recovery Run – Thetis Lake

Note - Optional: Saturday is race check in and Sunday is race day.

Camp fees include training, coaching, facilities, camp souvenirs, and training nutrition.  Travel, meals, and accommodation are not included. All entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
