Chester County Human Resources December Meeting

Title: Ahead of the Trends: Washington Update on Retirement Savings Initiatives

The Obama administration has identified several concerns with employer sponsored retirement plans and is currently working on solutions. These coming changes will directly affect everyone who works on 401(k) plans including HR professionals. Therefore, it is important for HR professionals to understand what the future of 401k plans might look like so they can stay several steps ahead of participant concerns and help their employer keep their plan competitive and in compliance.

Please join Guy Wilson, Financial Professional from Karr Barth Associates. In his previous career as an entrepreneur Guy became keenly aware of the many challenges business owners face as they struggle to manage their company’s retirement plan. So when he joined Karr Barth Associates as a Financial Professional in 2005 he made a commitment to focus in the field of Qualified Plans. In 2006 he earned the Qualified Plan Specialist title from AXA Advisors, LLC. Then in 2009 he earned the Qualified Plan Financial Consultant designation from the American Socienty of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and he regulary attends the ASPPA 401k Summit. In short, Guy is uniquely positioned to be a valuable resource for plan sponsors.
