From Focus to Performance

Presented by: Justin S. Anderson, Psy.D., LP

At any given time, how optimal is your thinking? Do you ever find your mind doubting yourself, criticizing past performances, or getting over-anxious for upcoming events? We spend a lot of time working on sales techniques and strategies to promote our products or services, but how much time do we work on training our mind to be an asset for us versus an obstacle? Most of us leave our thoughts up to chance, but new research on the brain shows us that we can take control of our thoughts and develop a better/healthier way to interact with world, clients, family and ourselves. This presentation will highlight the latest advancements in performance psychology and brain research and provide you a few tips on how to use your mind in a more optimal manner to enhance your sales (as well as live a healthier and more meaningful life).

When you leave this session you will have learned:

• The natural progression of how our focus can turn into to high level performance
• How to develop motivation model that manages the uncertain cycles of sales
• Tips on how not to choke during key sales presentations
• How to develop core confidence (not just how to present more confident, but how to truly build it)
• Mental skills and strategies elite athletes and executives use to perform under pressure
• An opportunity to create your own performance plan that leads to sustainable results
