One of the oldest races in the state of Wisconsin, this will be the 37th annual edition of Winter Park's Lakeland Loppet. The day includes races for folks of all ages and abilities. Technical T-Shirts to first 100 registered in either the 8k or 25k. Alll 4k and Beat the Bunny racers receive T-Shirt.
Here is the schedule for race weekend;
Friday 12pm - 8pm - Bib Pickup and Registration at the Winter Park Chalet (12305 Winter Park. Rd)
Friday Evening 5-8pm will be a Pasta Feed along with Bib Pickup and Registration at the Minocqua Winter Park Chalet (*Note - the Squirrel Hill Tube Runs will be open from 5pm to 8pm that evening with a discounted rate for Loppet skiers and their families who would like to experience the 'thrill of the hill' on snow tubes!)

8:00am - 1:00pm Registration and Bib Pick Up at Minocqua Winter Park Chalet (Deadline is 20 minutes prior to each race)
9:00am 8km Classic Wave Starts
9:30am 8km Freestyle Wave Starts
10:30am 8km Awards Presentation
11:00am 25km Classic Start
11:15am 25km Freestyle Wave Starts
1:00pm 4km Freestyle Start
1:05pm Individual Spirit Award Presentation
1:30pm 2km Beat the Bunny Children's Race
1:30pm Raffle Drawings (racer and 50/50)
2:00pm Awards (immediately following the Bunny race completion)
Athletes Release: Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk Release: I know that skiing is an action sport carrying significant risk of serious personal injury, death or property damage. I also know that there are natural, mechanical and environmental conditions and risks which independently or in combination with my activities may cause property damage, or severe or even fatal injuries to me or others. I agree that I alone am responsible for: (a) my safety while participating in competitive events and, (b) providing, utilizing and maintaining that equipment necessary for the safe enjoyment of my participation in such events and specifically acknowledge that the following persons or entities including Minocqua Winter Park employees and volunteers, the promoters, the sponsors, the organizers, the officials and any agent, representative, officer, director, employee, member or affiliate, of any person or entity named above are not responsible for my safety. I specifically RELEASE and DISCHARGE, in advance, those parties from any and all liability whether known or unknown, even that liability which may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of persons and entities identified above. I further agree to forever HOLD HARMLESS and IDEMINIFY all persons and entities identified above, generally and specifically, from any and all liability for death, personal injury or property damage, resulting in any way from my participating in competitive events. I currently have, and I agree to maintain throughout the time that I train and compete, valid and sufficient medical and accident insurance. I understand that it is my sole responsibility and release all persons and entities identified above from providing this coverage for me. I agree that I will accept and abide by any rules or regulations imposed by the organizers of any particular competition. This Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk and Release shall be binding upon my heirs and assigns. Photography Release; I hereby grant absolute right and permission to the Lakeland Ski Touring Foundation to use photographic portraits of me for illustration, promotion and advertising purposes.
Register Now! ONLINE REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 5PM ON THURSDAY, MARCH 1ST. AFTER THAT WE WILL ACCEPT REGISTRATIONS AT THE WINTER PARK CHALET ON FRIDAY FROM 10AM-8PM AND SATURDAY UP UNTIL 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO EACH RACE.
***PLEASE NOTE - If you are going to register more than one person online, you'll need different email addresses for each registrant. If you don't have an email address for each registrant, simply make one up and enter that.
