Group Leader / Moderator - Lara McGlashan
Lara McGlashan-Volz is a long-time member of the LAwritersgroup.com writers groups. She is a working freelance writer specializing in heath, fitness and nutrition. She has been working in the Los Angeles area as such for the past 12 years, and her clients include Self, Shape, Fitness, Oxygen and Marie Claire. Lara graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a double major in French and English, then went on to disappoint her parents by becoming a ski instructor for two years in the Rockies. Fortunately, she made back some brownie points when she went back to school at the University of Miami and graduated with an MFA in screenwriting and film production. She is currently working on completing her novel, a murder mystery based in the realm of health and fitness.
