Special Education Law:
Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders

This workshop will help parents understand the rights and procedures that ensure children with ASD receive educational opportunities reflecting competency and potential. The workshop will address current trends, legal standards, some court cases, evaluation rights and procedures, and special education service options for children with ASD. The workshop will emphasize specific legal requirements, which ensure that children with ASD receive educational services to meet their unique needs and allow them to reach their potential.

Fees: $40 AANE member (one or both parents)   $55 Non-member (one or both parents)

Registration deadline

No walk-ins. Advance registration with full payment is required by February 3, 2012. AANE reserves the right to cancel this workshop if the minimum enrollment is not met by the registration deadline. If you would like to register after the deadline, please call AANE to check if the workshop is still being held and if space is available. If you are a no-show at a scheduled workshop, there are no refunds and no credits given to attend another workshop.
