Mad Cap Puppets: When You Wish Upon A Fish 

DESCRIPTION:

The famous Grimm brothers take the stage in one of the most popular Madcap shows of all time!  The brothers have three completely different versions of The Fisherman and his Wife and can’t decide which fishy fairy tale to choose for their book.  Each outrageous version includes audience participation, a magical talking fish, and a surprise ending.  Don’t miss this hilarious slapstick adventure!

This event is part of the Deerfield Township Performing Arts series in partnership with the Mason-Deerfield Arts Alliance. Seating is limited and begins at 2:30pm. Please see the Program Fees section below for ticket information.

MadCap staff will also conduct a puppet building workshop at 4:15pm, following the show. The puppet building workshop is limited to 25 participants and requires advance registration. Please click here for more information.

PERFORMER BIO:

Madcap Productions Puppet Theatre is a national touring company that creates high quality live puppet theatre entertainment and education for young audiences.Through unique puppetry and playwriting, Madcap aspires to positively impact young audiences during their formative years when creative and magical imaginations are developing.

Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Madcap Puppet Theatre is nationally recognized for its original children’s theatre productions, and for in-school educational programs that include performances, workshops and residencies. Specialized programs also include such issues as conflict resolution, health, safety, environment and social concerns.

This is a FAMILY event. (All minors must be accompanied by an adult.)

PROGRAM FEES:

Payment is accepted at the door only; no advance reservations. Seating is limited and begins at 2:30pm.

Tickets are $2.00 per person; children 2 and under are free. Cash or check, made payable to Deerfield Township, only. No credit cards can be accepted.
