Creating a Safer Tomorrow, One Child at a Time.

Join us for Y.O.U’s 6th Annual Diverse Evanston Walks United (DEWU), a community-wide celebration of peace, diversity, unity, leadership, and service held on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

This youth-driven event engages groups from across Evanston with local youth & families to create different expressions and thoughts promoting non-violence.

DEWU is a FREE community event and will feature guest speakers, a live portrait artist, performances by youth, and a panel discussion on strategies for developing healthy relationships. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky is excited to join the community by participating and providing brief remarks during the event.

 We’ll see you there!
