Support the revitalization of downtown Elgin through your membership to DNA in 2012!
Here are just a few of the things DNA was able to accomplish in 2011 through the support of our members:
- Complete overhaul of downtown parking policies to make parking simple, welcoming and free for visitors, employees and residents;
- Recruitment and creation of new jobs in downtown through new business start-ups, relocations and expansions, and facilitating more than $1.25 million in real estate transactions over the past two years; and
- New initiatives and events to continue to promote the positive changes happening in our downtown!
We are excited to ring in 2012 with several new initiatives spearheaded by our various DNA committees, such as:
- Development of a comprehensive, step-by-step small business recruitment strategy for downtown;
- Establishing design guidelines for existing downtown buildings and new development;
- Relaunching the DowntownElgin.com website; and
- New restaurant and retail promotions, exciting new additions and changes to downtown special events.
