GRI Launches New Sustainability Reporting Guidance for Event Organizers

Making meetings more sustainable

GRI and London 2012 launch new sustainability reporting guidelines for event organizers

How can event organizers report on sustainability issues like impacts on communities, natural environments, and local and global economies? And how will this make events of all kinds more sustainable?

The events sector is diverse: its activities range from business meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to sports and cultural festivals – all of which have different impacts on the environment and society. These impacts need to be considered and measured in order to improve the sustainability of the events industry.

Join GRI, London 2012 and speakers from the events industry to find out more about new guidance for reporting the sustainability performance of events – the launch of GRI’s Event Organizers Sector Supplement.

Kind regards,

Maaike Fleur
