Best Web 2.0 Tools for Teachers

Sure, school budgets are shrinking but that doesn't mean schools have to shrink from using technology in their classrooms. In this webinar Richard Byrne will share some of his favorite free Web 2.0 tools for discovering new academic materials, hosting online discussions, and having students demonstrate what they've learned. This webinar will offer tools and tips for all K-12 teachers across all content areas.

Richard Byrne is a full-time high school social studies teacher in Maine and author of the award-winning blog, Free Technology for Teachers. Edublog Award Winner for "Best Individual Blog" (2009) and "Best Resource Sharing Blog" (2009 & 2011), Free Technology for Teachers has over 30,000 subscribers and has exceeded 100,000 unique visitors a month. Richard is a Google Certified Teacher who in 2010 was named an ACTEM Educator of the Year Finalist and one of Tech & Learning Magazine's "30 to Watch for the Future of Ed Tech."
