FAC Pinewoods Sessions - June 2012

The Weekend Session is now full!

If you are interested in getting your name on the waiting list for either the Weekend Session or Both Sessions options, please contact the Folk Arts Center offices, either by email (fac@facone.org) or by phone (781-438-4387).

The Folk Arts Center's June session at Pinewoods Camp in Plymouth, Massachusetts is the ideal time and place to "get away from it all"!  One has three options for attending:  1) the Weekend Session, that runs from Thursday afternoon, June 21 after 3:00pm through Monday breakfast, June 25;  2) the FolkDays Session, that runs from Monday afternoon, June 25 through Thursday breakfast, June 28;  or 3) Both Sessions, running from Thursday afternoon June 21 through Thursday breakfast, June 28.

Our staff is exemplary this year and features Miroslav Marcetic teaching Serbian dance and Bruce Hamilton leading English country dance.  Live music for the evening dance parties is by the incomparable Pinewoods Band, Tom Pixton, Director.  Please refer to the FAC Pinewoods webpage for lots more information (including directions to Pinewoods, a list of what to bring, etc.).

The Weekend session is geared towards adults; we are able to accept a limited number of children (there will be a lottery on March 1, if necessary) and there will be two workshops for the children offered each morning so the adults can attend Miroslav's and Bruce's dance classes.  During the FolkDays we offer a more robust schedule of children's classes.

A limitation of this service by Constant Contact is that you may only register ONCE under any given email ... so if you have more than one person sharing an email in your family, MAKE SURE to register them by pressing the "add" button after you've registered yourself!  If you forget, and can't get back in to the form - don't despair, and certainly don't leave them at home (!), just call the office and we'll take their registration over the phone.
