WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
This workshop provides an introduction to two important small business topics. First, Stancil and Company will explain how to read and use the most common financial reportrs used for small business. Next, The Roper group will introduce you to the most popular small business accounting software used to regularly generate these reports for your own business - Quickbooks.
SPEAKER BIOGRAPHIES-
Jess McLamb is president of The Roper Group Inc., a bookkeeping company based in Raleigh since March of 1993. The Roper Group specializes in providing one-on-one and classroom training for QuickBooks®, and in-house and onsite bookkeeping services for small businesses around the country.
Prior to forming The Roper Group, McLamb was a senior officer in the financial services industry for close to 20 years. In 1994, she founded the Wake County Women Business Owners’ Network and she is the past president and current treasurer of the Greater Raleigh Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). She is also a member of the NC Association of CPAs, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and the North Raleigh Civitan Club
Henry White joined Stancil & Company in 1981 and predominately serves clients in the firm’s accounting and auditing, taxation and small business consulting practice areas. Henry is extensively involved in accounting and auditing for both for-profit and not-for-profit entities.
