Titus & Cornelius  

                                                                                                                                                                                                            Civil strife, Economic collapse, Republican corruption and Loss of faith beset Rome in 60AD, whose emperor was, no other than that son of Jupiter, Nero.  The self proclaimed emperor of the world has put Christians in Rome under his persecuting thumb.  Thus…for two newly baptized Greek slaves serving as pantomime servants in the house of Flavius Nerva, it’s a very stressful time. A pot of boiling oil,  the stinging flagella of their master’s whip and a coliseum stocked with hungry lions fill the thoughts of Cornelius and Titus as they plot and scheme  about how to pacify the Roman Senator Flavius Nerva-their master.

The two Greek slaves are so excited by their recent conversion to Christianity that they make the grave error of suggesting to their master that there is a single God; and what’s worse---that He laughs!  In a furious rage, Flavius Nerva gives his two slaves one hour to prepare their explanation of this heresy.

Rom im Jahre 60 n. Chr. ist gekennzeichnet von Bürgerunruhen, Wirtschaftskrisen, Korruption und dem Verlust von religiösen Werten. Kaiser von Rom ist niemand anderes als Nero, der Sohn des Jupiter. Der selbsternannte Kaiser des gesamten Römischen Reiches und damit der Welt lässt die Christen in Rom verfolgen.Daher sind auch die kürzlich getauften griechischen Sklaven, Cornelius und Titus, die im Hause des Senators Flavius Nerva als Pantomime dienen, in grösster Gefahr.

Trotz der Verfolgung der Christen sind die beiden Sklaven, die sich gerade haben taufen lassen, so begeistert von Jesus Christus, dass sie Ihrem Herren Flavius Nerva gegenüber einen schwerwiegenden Fehler begehen.  Sie behaupten, dass es nur einen Gott gibt und...das dieser lacht! Diese ketzerische Aussage gegen die Götter des römischen Pantheon lässt Flavius Nerva rasen vor Wut und er gibt seinen Sklaven eine Stunde Zeit, um ihre Aussage darzustellen.

Eine Frage?                                                                                                                                        Wie Schaffen sie es , die Stelle in den Geschichten der Bibel zu finden, in der Gott lachte?

Wie schaffen sie es ,die ganze Geschichte zum Abschluss zu bringen, bevor der Sand durch die Sanduhr gelaufen ist?

Wie können sie ihren Kopf aus der Schlinge ziehen, wenn ihr Plan fehlschlägt?

As Director of The Lion’s Mouth Theatre in Poland, she was the recipient in Warsaw of the national OFTA commendation for impacting Polish culture with positive values. Kathleen holds several degrees from the University of Michigan in drama and San Diego State University in musical theater, as well as an honorary Professorship from The Yunan Institute for the Arts in Kunming, China.  She studied dance, mime and commedia dell’arte at world-renowned schools.

Ausserdem hat sie den Ehrendoktor des Yunan Art Instituts in China.  Pantomine hat sie in Paris am Jacque Lecoq Ecole de Mime studiert und klassische Kunst in New York City.

In addition, Agnes also tours her own productions, leads a youth theatre project and directs her own Manners school which assists youth, through theatre techniques, to  successfully present themselves in the market place.

Agnes von Below ist Schauspielerin und Theaterpädagogin. Sie arbeitet seit 2001 mit Kathleen A. Thompson zusammen:Als Regieassistentin (Die Reise eines Königs) und als Schauspielerin im Ensemble Belleherst Production.

Seit einiger Zeit touren sie mit ihren Stücken durch Deutschland, USA und Kanada..Agnes von Below leitet Jugendtheaterprojekte und hat eine Benimmschule , die Jugendlichen anhand von Theatertechniken hilft, in der Welt der Erwachsenen zu Recht zu kommen.
