As the Society for Human Resource Management-Long Island Chapter (SHRM-LI) enters our 21st year of providing HR Professionals and their industry supporters an opportunity to come together for a day at our Exhibitors' Showcase and Workshops, our focus this year will be on ADVOCACY...providing a variety of tools that HR Professionals can utilize for their FUTURE success.

The 2012 Conference will kick off with an important general session Keynote Breakfast Workshop, entitled "MENTORING: Advocate For Change in a Change-Dodging World" (Presented by Ann Tardy).  

Concurrent Workshops will be offered in two Sessions, including:
"HARNESS THE POWER OF ACTING: Build Your Brand by Building Belief
the Way Actors Do" (Presented by Maria Guida);

"SHRM ADVOCACY TEAM: Shaping HR Public Policy" (Presented by David M. Lusk); and

"VIRTUAL TEAMS: Now & In The Future" (Presented by Yael Zofi).

Our Exhibitors' Showcase will open early, and remain open throughout the Conference, so that you will have time to visit each Sponsor's Booth and attend the particular Workshops that interest you.

This year's Keynote Luncheon Presenter is a Nationally Known Celebrity (as seen on Regis, Leno, etc.).  Due to National Security this speaker's identity cannot be revealed at this time...
