SEMINAR DESCRIPTION:  This is a 90-minute event, geared towards  the "novice" digital photographer -- perhaps someone who recently bought or received their first digital camera, or someone switching over from film.  The session serves to demystify some of the more confusing elements of digital photography, while providing a few easy-to-use tips that each participant can take away and use immediately.

TOPICS INCLUDE:

• Digital Photography Terminology
• What are these things called "pixels"?
• Fundamental Camera Controls
• Formatting your memory card
• Composition tips

This class is an ideal introduction into the art of digital photography, and also lays the foundation for those interested in attending David's more-advanced workshops and photo tours.

SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS:  The course is designed with the beginner photographer in mind, using a "point-and-shoot" digital camera, although those new to digital SLR technology may also benefit.

Seminar size is limited to just eight (8) students.
