"Many Minds Meet"

Brain GymŪ
We are privilidged to have guest speaker Jill Hewlett from Brain Works Global (www.brainworksglobal.com). Jill Hewlett is a nationally recognized and respected speaker, trainer, coach and TV host. Jill's expertise is as a licensed Brain GymŪ Consultant/Instructor of 15 years.
The morning session will introduce participants to Brain GymŪ. This is a program of physical movements designed to improve the brain’s functioning and reduce stress in the body. The Brain GymŪ program uses 26 specific developmental movements to enhance whole brain/body integration. Because the 26 exercises balance the body’s energy and enhance the three dimensions of brain functioning, anyone can notice an improvement in focusing, concentration and memory skills.
Brain GymŪ helps school children learn better, business people to be more productive, seniors to feel more alert and coordinated, sport participants to perform better, and everyone to feel less stressed and anxious. Come and playfully discover the power of Brain GymŪ to enhance your brain integration and personal effectiveness. Participants will learn 12 of these movements during the morning session.

The afternoon breakout sessions will enable participants to choose two of the following:

Session A - Psychologist Dr. Susan Graham-Clay on Practical Approaches
to teaching students with ADHD.

Session B - Anna Mauricio will demonstrate and present strategies for using a web-based literacy development tool

Session C - Consultant Manon Heran will offer a lively and fun workshop
on using movement/dance.

Session D - Jared Kigerman who works for Witz Education, Canada's first Gold-Level Apple Certified Training Centre will show the latest Apple apps.
